Today Morgan decided it was time to try out the bike with out training wheels. After 15 minutes of coaching, she took off on her own.

Turkey in disguise
"M" was assigned a project in school to make a disguise for a turkey to hide him for Thanksgiving. She picked a penguin, the school mascot, and this is the result. I hope he stays hidden through the holiday.

Foghorn Leghorn
Carlee was a good sport about trying on her Halloween costume. We'll see how she does on the big night. This year's pumpkin carving looks to be a vampire. We'll tackle that in a couple of weeks.

At the Nats game
On Sunday we enjoyed a picture perfect day at the new Washington Nationals park. We had seats just to the first base side of homeplate, good and close to the action. Oh and the Nats beat the Reds 4-2!

Powder Puff Derby 2008
Allison placed 2nd in her class with this year's Powder Puff Derby car. The derby was run on March 29th. She decided to name her car "Speeder". I'm just glad the wheels stayed on again this year. You can see the results from last year here: 2007 posting

Ring the bell
The bell in Carlee's mouth is our indication that she needs to "go out". We've been working on training her to alerts us before Nature makes its call. She's getting the hang of it, altough D and I were a little surprised to find the bell missing when we returned home Friday night from dinner. I found it in the yard the next day, apprently Carlee chewed it off the door and carried it out. We'll get some tougher string.Carlee gets groomed
